Effective date: 1 April 2025Tempo does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), analytics, crash reports, or usage data of any kind. No account or sign-in is required to use the app.
Tempo contacts a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server at the interval you configure (default: every 30 seconds). The sole purpose of this request is to obtain the current UTC time so the clock display can be corrected for any local drift.
The default NTP server is pool.ntp.org. You may change this at any
time in Settings. Other available presets include servers operated by Cloudflare,
Google, Apple, Microsoft, NIST, and others. The request contains only a standard
NTP v4 packet; no device identifier, user data, or app state is included.
All user preferences (NTP server, sync interval, theme, dial colour, lume colour) are stored exclusively on your device using the operating system's standard preference or settings storage. This data never leaves your device.
Tempo does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. The app has no dependency on any external service other than the NTP server you explicitly choose in Settings.
On Android, Tempo requests the following permissions:
No other permissions are requested. The app does not access contacts, camera, microphone, location, files, or any other sensitive device resource.
Tempo is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data whatsoever, the app complies with children's privacy regulations such as COPPA (US) and applicable regional equivalents.
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be published at the same URL and the effective date above will be updated. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
